Winter Guard

The West Potomac High School Winter Guard is an exceptional group that showcases the artistry and athleticism of its dedicated performers. Combining elements of dance, flag spinning, rifle handling, and theatrical storytelling, the Winter Guard creates captivating and visually stunning performances.

Led by the talented Color Guard Director, Danielle Quiles, the Winter Guard undergoes intensive training and rehearsals to master their routines. Winter Guard creates a supportive and inclusive environment where performers can express themselves and grow as individuals and artists. The season begins in early December and concludes in April. During the season the group travels to local competitions.

Students of all skill levels are encouraged to join guard. Whether you have previous experience in color guard or are curious to try something new, the Winter Guard offers a welcoming and enriching experience for all.
