Percussion Ensemble

The West Potomac High School Concert Percussion Ensemble offers an opportunity for students to extend the drumline experience beyond the marching band season or learn something new.

Under the guidance of the skilled percussion instructors, students experience a wide range of percussion instruments, including drums, cymbals, and auxiliary percussion. Rehearsals typically begins in early December after marching season concludes and performs with the Jazz Band during the Small Ensemble Concert series.

The Concert Percussion Ensemble welcomes students of all skill levels. Whether you have a background in drums or are curious to explore the world of percussive music, this is an excellent program to hone your skills.
