Tag Day

What is Tag Day?

Tag Day is the biggest annual fundraiser for the West Potomac Performing Arts Department.  This year it is September 12, 2026.

How does it work?

Students form small teams and go door-to-door in the community, distributing “tags.” They invite residents to come see them in action – and to support them through donations that will pay for instruments, uniforms, costumes, transportation, and all the other essentials for the performing arts programs.

Thank you for supporting the Band, Orchestra and Choir programs at West Potomac High School. Tag Day proceeds go entirely to supporting these activities, and help to offset the cost of operating these important programs for our students!
