DONATE TO BAND: Levels of Giving


Love our Wolverine Band program? Support the band booster organization at the following levels and you’ll be recognized in our concert programs:


Musician        $100 donation

Chair              $150 donation

Soloist          $250 donation

Director         $500 donation


Any donations you’ve already made for this school year will be included. For example, if you already gave the suggested $50 contribution for marching band, an additional $50 donation puts you at the “musician” level. Contact treasurer@wolverineband.com with questions.

  7. Aug. 22 -- Band camp 8-12, then band is excused for “Wolverine Welcome.” Report back at 5:30 to play at 6pm pep rally. Band camp resumes after pep rally, around 7:30-9pm.

  8. Aug. 25 -- Preview Show & Pot Luck, 6pm

  9. Aug. 28 -- School Starts!

Fantastic start so far!

One more week of band camp:


CAR WASH, Aldersgate Church, Saturday Aug 19

Kids pitch in for the morning or afternoon shift (just show up!),

and everybody else just bring your car by, and spread the word to your neighbors!


DINNERS

Kids can buy dinner on Monday and Wednesday this week.


WOLVERINE WELCOME, Tuesday Aug. 22

Every year band is a huge part of the “Wolverine Welcome” because we provide the “pep” for the pep rally! This year, it falls right in the middle of band camp, so we’re going to move our rehearsal to the morning (8-12). Then we’ll come back together at 5:30 so we’re ready to lead that 6pm pep rally. As soon as the field clears – maybe 7:30? -- we’ll resume our rehearsals until 9pm.


POT LUCK & PREVIEW, Friday Aug. 25

The last Friday night of band camp always features a preview performance of the show for families,

followed by a giant pot luck dinner. Come at 6pm. Here’s what to bring:

Freshmen = Side dishes (salads, bread, etc.)

Sophomores & Juniors = Main dishes (casseroles, fried chicken, etc.)

Seniors = Desserts (cookies, brownies, etc.)

If you can lend a hand, sign up to help set up/clean up at right.
